[Nigeria] Apostle Suleman reply Witches group – Say I know of COVID-19 patients already Healed.

Apostle Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries has stated that he’s ready to send details of COVID-19 patients that have been healed.

The clergyman stated this in response to a challenge from the Advocacy for Alleged Witches (AFAW) who promised to give him a thousand dollars for every COVID-19 patient he heals.

The challenge came after Apostle Suleman asked for permission from the Federal Government to visit COVID-19 patients in isolation centers and heal them.

His request was ridiculed by the witches group who challenged him by offering a reward in dollars.

In response, Apostle Suleman tweeted: “A certain Leo Igwe says I should heal covid19 and get a 1000 dollars. I will send you the details of those already healed..so you can investigate. I am not the healer, God is. To mention 1000 dollars shows you are broke and poor..keep it..you need the money than me.

“Normally I won’t reply critics but the website he uses has been constantly writing against me for 3yrs non-stop, all kinds of stories. Also, I feel so ashamed to see some Christians joining the world to attack itself. Not in my time. Jesus Christ called Herod a fox (Luke 13.32.).

“A pastor speaks for the oppressed and gets arrested, you are silent. He feeds the hungry, you are silent. He employs hundreds of jobless folks you are silent yet you claim to be a Christian. He replies critics and you are quick to say he should behave like a man of God? Hypocrites.

“For those who say christ never replied critics, you don’t know scriptures. Matthew 12.24-27, Lk 13.31-32..he replied when necessary. I am not of the stock of pastors that keep quiet when you attack pastors. You ‘ridicule’ and expect us to keep quiet..some silence means consent”.

[Nigeria] Witches to reward Apostle Suleman with $1000 if he can do this…

The Advocacy for Alleged Witches (AFAW) has challenged Apostle Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries to go ahead with his promised to heal COVID-19 patients.

The video below shows Apostle Suleman seeking permission from the Federal Government to allow him and other pastors access to the isolation centers where COVID-19 patients are being looked after.

In reaction, the founder of the Nigerian Humanist Movement, Leo Igwe, promised to give a thousand dollars to Apostle Suleman if he makes do his claim of having healing powers.

He said, “I am challenging the founder of Omega Ministries, Apostle Suleman to demonstrate his so-called gift of healing under agreed medical and scientific conditions.

“I ask Suleman to heal a person with a confirmed case of COVID-19 and get a thousand US dollars. This challenge has become necessary because Apostle Suleman has in a recent video, urged the government of Nigeria to allow him and other pastors with the gift of healing into the isolation centers so that they could pray and heal those who have been infected by the virus.

“This request should not go unattended. Suleman specifically said that the gifted pastors could heal 18 out of 20 COVID-19 patients. This is a reasonable number. Isn’t it?

“And in a recent tweet, Apostle Suleman affirmed that (his) God was bigger than the Coronavirus. This challenge is for Suleman to heal, not 2 or 3 persons, not 10 or 15 patients but one person with a viral infection.

“For too long, people from various religious traditions have claimed to have the ability to heal all kinds of diseases, including malaria, diabetes, hepatitis, and HIV/AIDS. Self-acclaimed godmen and women have organized healing/prayer sessions where they supposedly got rid of illnesses through faith and prayers. This ability, if proven to be effective, could be an enormous resource at a time like this when the world is trying to contain a vicious pandemic, that is ravaging many parts of the world.

“Incidentally, faith healing in Africa has largely been taken for granted. Faith healing claims have gone unchallenged and untested. There has not been any major effort to hold African faith healers to account or get them to openly and publicly demonstrate the potency and efficacy of their healing propositions under scientific testing conditions. The outbreak of COVID-19 offers an ample opportunity to realize this – to test and confirm the much-avowed healing gifts and abilities of pastors.

“So I hereby challenge Apostle Suleman to prove that he can heal COVID-19 patients through prayer. Apostle Suleman will get one thousand US dollars for any proven case of faith healing of a COVID-19 patient under agreed scientific conditions.

“Suleman should agree to pray for a COVID-19 patient from wherever he is since going into the isolation centers without face masks and personal protective equipment is not medically permitted and would violate existing laws and regulations.

“After all, Jesus performed miracles at a distance (John 4: 46-54). Didn’t he? And also, the Bible enjoins believers to pray in secret, and that the prayers would be answered (Matthew 6:6).

“So it is not necessary for Apostle Suleman or any gifted pastor to get into the isolation centers before they could pray and heal any COVID-19 patient.

“Besides, Suleman should consider this a standing challenge, which he could accept after the vaccine has been discovered and regulations on managing COVID-19 infection have been relaxed.

“Otherwise, I challenge Apostle Suleman to heal an HIV/AIDS patient through prayer and take home a thousand US dollars.

“HIV is another viral infection that is killing many people in Nigeria and across the world. Apostle Suleman should use this window to demonstrate under medical and scientific conditions his supernatural gift of healing.

“He should show Nigerians and the rest of the world that his God is truly bigger than a virus, whether it is COVID-19 or HIV. I hope that Apostle Suleman or any other gifted pastor accepts this challenge and seizes this opportunity to demonstrate the potency and efficacy of faith healing.”

COVID-19 lockdown: Stop beating people – Apostle Suleman tell Nigerian soldiers

Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries has urged the Nigerian Military to stop beating up Nigerians while implementing the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) stay at home order.

Apostle Suleman made the remark in a tweet on his official Twitter page on Thursday.

He wrote:

“Please everyone stay at home, but soldiers, the way you are beating up people is uncalled for.

“Chase them back indoors, not these furious beatings. If the Govt had palliative measures in place to reduce hunger, it would have been okay.

“Some people are dying of hunger…my opinion.”

Meanwhile, the Defence Headquarters has rubbished the torture videos being circulated on social media alleged to have been perpetrated by the personnel of the armed forces while implementing the Coronavirus stay at home order.

Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, the Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, in a statement on Thursday, said the videos being circulated were the handiwork of mischief makers to tarnish the image of the Military.

“The attention of the Defence Headquarters has been drawn to some video clips trending in the media,” the statement read.

“The clips are being used by some mischievous elements to tarnish the image of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

“Members of the public are hereby advised to disregard those videos.”

The number of Coronavirus cases in Nigeria is at 174, according to NCDC.

OMG: Actress Etinosa slam Apostle Suleman

Nollywood actress, Idemudia Etinosa has taken a swipe at the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman over his recent comment about bleaching.

The cleric had described those who bleach as fraudsters in a recent sermon at the headquarters of his church in Auchi, Edo State. Apostle Suleman added that those who bleach the colour of their skin end up smelling and are prone to contracting cancer.

He was heard saying in a viral video;

“Can I give you a counsel as a boy and a girl, don’t bleach.

“Bleaching has no end, anything that moves from the original has no end.

“When you start bleaching you start smelling because you’re taking off the original layer.

“Some parts of your body react, they refuse to cooperate with you because you are a fraudster. So at that period, you start looking like a map. You are open to cancer.”

“Funny enough some men also bleach. Your mates are fans of Manchester, Arsenal and Chelsea, you are a fan of cream and you are a man.”

However taking a swipe at Apostle Suleman, Etinosa stated that there is no relationship between bleaching and the kingdom of God. She also insinuated that the Pastor’s alleged “side piece” also bleaches.

Etinosa wrote;

There’s no relationship between BLEACHING and kingdom of God so my uncle Suleiman go and rest. Especially when Your side piece is one of us – BLEACHING GENG member

2020 Lagos Marathon: Apostle Suleman speaks on Kenyans’ win

Suleman commented shortly after Kenyan athlete David Barmasai Tumo emerged winner of the 2020 Lagos City Marathon. The popular cleric wondered whether it is their stamina or capacity for long-suffering that is responsible for their Marathon success.

On his Twitter page, he raised questions regarding the excellent performance Kenyans always put on in marathons shortly after Kenyan athlete David Barmasai Tumo emerged winner of the 2020 Lagos City Marathon.

The 42km race which commenced at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos state, saw David Barmasai Tumo cross the finish line at the Eko Atlantic in a course record time of 2 hours, 10 minutes and 23 seconds. The 31-year-old Kenyan athlete won the sum of $50,000 after completing the 42km race.

Pastor Suleman tweeted: “What’s with Kenyans always coming 1st in Marathon race?..is it stamina or capacity for long-suffering?…don’t dare a long-distance race with an athletic Kenyan or you will only come 1st from behind…kudos to Kenyans on the victory at the Lagos Marathon. God bless you.”

The cleric’s tweet, as expected, has generated several reactions from his followers and other Twitter users.

Femi Adesina, Insensitive man – Apostle Suleman

Johnson Suleman, senior pastor and general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, has joined the list of Nigerians who have criticized Femi Adesina over the statement he issued to counter CAN’s message to President Buhari.

Following the decapitation of Rev Indimi by Boko Haram, the Christian Association of Nigeria challenged the president to purge himself of the allegations of nepotism and religious favoritism.

The Christian body also demanded a change in the leadership of the security forces and the release of Leah Sharibu and other captives with the Boko Haram terrorists.

However, in a statement released by Femi Adesina on Friday, the presidential aide said the message of the Christian association hinted that the leadership of the Christian body still harbors some of the old narratives that have been discredited.

Femi Adesina also said the Christian Body was acting like a political party and noted that their role was not to be “making snide remarks and statements”.

On the demand for change in the leadership of the security forces, Femi Adesina said, “If the leadership of the security forces would be changed, it is a sitting President that has the prerogative. It will not happen when CAN begins to make such demand in what should be a sober condolence press statement. Don’t mix bias and sympathy. They don’t mesh.”

However, the statement by Femi Adesina has received heavy criticism from Nigerians.

Johnson Suleman, senior pastor and general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode described Adesina as being “morally bankrupt” and Apostle Suleman labeled him as an “insensitive man” while reacting to the statement on Saturday.

Johnson Suleman said: “Just saw the empty defence of Femi Adesina and his lashing CAN over the beheading of Rev Indimi. Such insensitive man is a presidential media aide?. Certain positions should be given to people who have heads, even if they lack brains, we can manage ‘just head’.”

My stand with Operation Amotekun – Apostle Suleman

Apostle Johnson Suleman, founder, Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide has thrown his weight behind Southwest’s security outfit, Operation Amotekun.

The Federal Government has declared Amotekun illegal and unconstitutional. FG’s declaration has incited outrage in the country.
