Nipsey Hussle’s lover debunks dating rumour months after his death

Lauren London has set the record straight on rumours that she’s dating rapper Diddy less than a year after Nipsey Hussle’s death.

The actress lost her man, Grammy-winning rapper Nipsey Hussle in 2019 after he was shot dead. Since then, she hasn’t been linked with any man.

However, all that changed when hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, 50, shared a photo of himself with London, 35, during the Roc Nation pre-Grammys brunch.

He captioned the photo: “More lost files…me and my sister @laurenlondon at the @rocnation brunch.”

Though he referred to her as his sister, people began speculating that they are dating since both of them are currently single.

Lauren initially reacted to the rumours by posting a photo of late Nipsey Hussle alongside the caption, “Still His! King Ermias! Never Forget!”

When the rumours didn’t stop, she followed that up with a more aggressive post demanding the public “stop f***king playing” with her while she continues to mourn the death of her longtime partner.

She wrote: “I’m all love and peace but never forget….I’m a woman in grief and I don’t play about Nip, my family, my character and code. Bout to drink a green juice to start the day though.”

DJ khaled, John Legend, others pay tributes to Nipsey & Bryant ..

The Grammys lined up a tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle nearly a year after his shooting death in March of last year. Tragically, his tribute would find itself making room for two as he was ultimately projected alongside Kobe Bryant after the basketball legend passed away earlier in the day.

YG and Roddy Ricch found themselves among collaborators Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, John Legend and gospel mainstay Kirk Franklin as they led an emotional rendition of Khaled’s “Higher” featuring Legend and Nip before the crowd gathered inside of the Staples Center.

Earlier in the evening, Nipsey Hussle earned his very first Grammy after posthumously winning the prize for Best Rap Performance for his “Racks In The middle” track. His family, including Lauren London, his grandmother, his brother, daughter, and sister all accepted the award on Hussle’s behalf. As for Kobe, host Alicia Keys called on Boyz II Men for an impromptu performance of “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday” before displaying his No. 8 and No. 24 Lakers jerseys above the crowd.

2020 Grammy: Late Nipsey wins Best Rap Performance..

The 2020 Grammy for Best Rap Performance has been posthumously awarded to rapper, activist, and entrepreneur, Ermias Joseph Asghedom popularly known as Nipsey Hussle.

Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy also won for the song “Racks in the Middle.”

The other nominees in the category were J. Cole (“MIDDLE CHILD” and the Dreamville posse cut “Down Bad”), Offset and Cardi B (“Clout”), and DaBaby (“Suge”).

This is Nipsey Hussle’s first Grammy win.

In an emotional acceptance speech, Nipsey Hussle’s grandmother who led the family to collect his award said, “I wanted to thank all of you for showing all the love that I have felt for him all of his life and will always live in my heart, so: thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Throughout his lifetime, Nipsey Hussle was a respected artist and activist in the hip-hop world, and it wasn’t until he finally released his debut album Victory Lap in early 2018 that he broke out as a proper superstar.

Hussle was shot multiple times in the parking lot of his store, Marathon Clothing, in South Los Angeles at about 3:19 pm on March 31, 2019.

He was only 33 when he died.

His alleged killer, Eric Holder, who has been charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon is currently awaiting trial.
