Bayern won’t allow Javi Martinez leave for free

Since his Athletic Club exit in 2012, every summer people talk about Javi Martinez possibly returning to the Basque Country and to the club where he truly made a name for himself.

This year it looked like Martinez was on his way out of Bayern Munich and that Athletic’s wishes were going to be fulfilled by re-signing the midfielder, but the transfer has become complicated.

As NobleSports has learned, Bayern have told the player that he won’t be allowed to leave for nothing.

They’d even love him to stay longer in the Bundesliga.

The Spaniard’s price tag is out of the Basque club’s range which is why they hoped to sign him as a free agent if he were to leave Germany this summer, with the player taking a wage cut.

Martinez has a year left on his contract and it looks likely that he will see it out, which would mean Athletic would have to wait until the summer of 2021 to sign the player.

Although he always has the option of returning to Lezama, the midfielder has also hinted on various occasions that he would like to play in places such as the United States, Japan or Australia.

Lautaro has a lot to learn at Barcelona – Stoichkov

Lautaro Martinez will learn a lot at Barcelona amid growing speculation the Inter star is set to join the Liga champions, according to Hristo Stoichkov.

Stoichkov played for Barca across two spells – winning five La Liga titles and the European Cup among other honours – and he told TyC Sports: “Martinez has great ability.

“He’s going to learn a lot at Barcelona. He has a great teacher like Luis Suarez. And he will have a good understanding with [Lionel] Messi, [Antoine] Griezmann and [Ousmane] Dembele.

“He likes to compete a lot, not just score goals. He’s growing every day. I think he’s proving that this year.

“The question is not whether he can play or not, the important thing is to compete. He has to train, he has to get into this style of play. I spent eight years at Barcelona playing both left and right [wing].

“Everyone is a substitute and a starter; it depends on how you train during the week.”

Not everyone thinks Martinez should switch Inter for Barcelona, however, with Fabio Capello warning the Argentine star he’d likely only be a substitute at Camp Nou.

“Lautaro Martinez is a very good player,” Capello told El Larguero. “He has everything – a lot of quality, very fast moves and also he’s very good when he shoots on goal.

“Going to Barcelona and becoming a starter with Luis Suarez there is difficult. I think it is better to be a starter at Inter than a substitute at Barcelona.”

Racing’s president of youth football Adrian Ruben Fernandez recently revealed Messi has called Lautaro about playing for Barca and believes a move will happen sooner rather than later.

“Messi called him and wants him by his side soon, I have no doubt,” Fernandez told Sport. “For that reason, the deal to sign him is almost there.

“I know things will go well in Barcelona and that Lautaro will be an excellent replacement for Suarez. He’s the ideal heir. Thanks to Barca he will continue to grow as a player and a man.”

Hazard may win balon’Dor in Spain – Belgium’s Martinez

Belgium boss Roberto Martinez spoke about Eden Hazard and his tough start to life at Real Madrid, but how his future could sparkle.

Eden Hazard can win the Ballon d’Or at Real Madrid, according to Belgium head coach Roberto Martinez.

Ballon d’Or chance for Hazard
Hazard swapped Chelsea for Madrid in a blockbuster €100million transfer at the start of the 2019-20 season but the Belgium star has struggled at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Injury and fitness problems have limited Hazard to just 15 appearances in the Spanish capital, where the attacker had not played since February 22 due to a broken ankle prior to the coronavirus pandemic. We looked at how his form may be upon return.

But national team boss Martinez – who extended his Belgium contract on Wednesday – is expecting big things from Hazard.

“He can totally win the Ballon d’Or with Real Madrid, without a doubt,” Martinez told Spanish station Cadena Ser.

“Sometimes it takes a difficult start at your new club to give everything you have inside and understand what it means to play in a great club like Real Madrid.

“Eden does not miss games, he lost 18 games with Chelsea in eight years and this has been circumstantial. The game that was injured against Paris Saint-Germain we already saw Eden with a lot of joy in his football with a great connection with his team-mates. I think Real Madrid fans are confident that he will bring many successes.”

Madrid last week returned to their Valdebebas base for the first time in two months, with most major sport across the globe suspended due to the Covid-19 crisis.

The players undertook individual sessions before working in groups on Monday, as LaLiga clubs took a step towards resuming their normal activities – the league hoping to restart in June.

Martinez added: “He is very happy. The footballer Eden is in a moment of great joy, he is very comfortable.

“All the steps have been taken in great detail and I would have had no problem to end the season with Real Madrid and reach the European Championship. I see him very happy and looking forward to some joy this season.”

Messi ‘wants Barcelona to sign Neymar over Lautaro Martinez’

Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi would reportedly prefer to rekindle his partnership with Neymar than for the club to sign Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan in the summer.
A club source reportedly told Spanish Radio station Cadena Ser: ‘If he had to choose between Lautaro and Neymar, it’s obvious Leo Messi prefers the Brazilian.’

Neymar was at Barcelona between 2013-2017, and enjoyed a good amount of success alongside Messi and Luis Suarez, scoring 105 goals.

He moved to PSG for a world-record fee, however has been linked with a sensational move back to the Nou Camp in recent months with Barca looking for a long-term replacement for Suarez.

However, he would be taking a staggering £26million pay cut to make the move, with PSG set to offer the Brazilian £44million-per-year to encourage him to stay in Paris.

Barcelona are also linked with Lautaro Martinez, but thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, there are questions over their finances.
Buying out his £97million release clause looks to be out of the question, with the club now offering Inter the likes of Nelson Semedo and Carles Alena as part of a deal.

With both Neymar and Martinez high on the transfer targets list, but possibly without the money to get them both, Barcelona chiefs appear to have a decision to make.PSX_20200424_055658

Messi isn’t part of the transfer process at the club, but it’s likely the star will be consulted on the matter.

If he prefers Neymar, it would be bad news for Martinez, who is keen for a move to the La Liga club.

Barcelona counter-attack for Lautaro Martinez

Inter Milan’s objective is not to retain Lautaro Martinez but to make his sale more profitable. The player wants to leave, that’s his intention, and Barcelona are the best placed for him.

The battle will be tough and the Italians are not going to make things easy. Inter president Steven Zhang is looking for the formula to get rid of the 111 million euro clause on his head, valid between July 1-15. That’s the most any club would have to pay for the 22-year-old, who has a lot of potentials.

Lautaro’s contract runs until June 2023. They want to raise his salary and as a consequence, the years on the deal. Their first offer was not accepted to Zhang has come back again. He’s offering virtually a salary raise of 100%, from 2m euros to 4m, but with the condition that the 111m euro release clause is eradicated.

The problem for Inter is that Barca have more financial muscle. Lautaro is seen as a key target, with a similar profile to Luis Suarez. So at Barca, like in a game of poker, they may be interested in ‘calling’ the raise.

The Catalans are offering around seven million euros a season for five seasons, which is a big offer. Ideally, they’d like to trade players with Inter too: Alena and Semedo are good choices.

Barcelona could try to insert Dembele into deal for Lautaro

Barcelona could try and include Ousmane Dembele in a deal for Inter’s Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Barcelona are extremely keen to land Lautaro and wish to do so on a player(s) plus cash basis and there has been no shortage of names suggested when it comes to potential makeweights.

Arturo Vidal, Carles Alena, Arthur, Junior Firpo, Nelson Semedo among a number of others have all been suggested in the media recently and as per the Rome based newspaper Dembele is the latest possibility.

However, the report does warn that the Frenchman’s annual salary of €9 million are likely to be a stumbling block for Inter.

The 22-year-old winger joined the Blaugrana club back in the Summer of 2017 on a five year deal from Borussia Dortmund and he has since went on to represent the club 74 times, in which he has scored 19 goals and provided 17 assists.

Inter & Barca’s special relationship key to Lautaro & Vidal transfers

Barcelona and Inter’s paths have crossed and the two clubs are condemned to come to an understanding. There’s no problem with the relationship between the two clubs, which has been really good for a number of years. That means operations between the clubs have been carried out in a relaxed atmosphere and with a willingness to talk.

There have been various meetings in the last three years and the club’s sporting directors know each other well. Both Eric Abidal and Ramon Planes get on really well with Piero Ausilio, who is key in the Italian club’s decision making. Last year, they met at least five times. The interaction is constant.

Two visits from Piero Ausilio to Barcelona in the January transfer window were made with the objective of signing Arturo Vidal. The request for the Chilean was made by Inter coach Antonio Conte, although he didn’t get his man as Barça couldn’t let him leave in the middle of the season due to the size of their squad.

But that did not damage the relationship between the clubs and Inter will move again for Vidal. Conte is desperate to sign the midfielder, who he worked with at Juventus.

It’s an operation that will happen with or without Lautaro Martinez moving to Barcelona. The Argentine is the Catalan club’s top target this summer. Both parties will work towards a deal. And Inter owe Barça one, too, after the cancelled their option to buy Rafinha after the midfielder’s loan a couple of years ago

Barcelona Stops Lautaro’s Transfer Talk

Barcelona were close to a deal for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, claim Sky Sport Italia, but the pandemic has ground everything to a complete halt.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio said that the two clubs had been in advanced negotiations, which would’ve seen at least one player move from Camp Nou to San Siro along with cash to get Lautaro Martinez.

However, with the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, football shut down and every club saw its finances hit hard.

Because of this, Inter are now only prepared to accept the €111m release clause if they are to sell Lautaro Martinez this summer.

Barcelona no longer feel able to pay the full sum, especially as the clause has it written in that it must be paid in full within a week of its activation.

Manchester United, Real Madrid and Manchester City would also struggle to manage the transfer on those terms.

Barca had been hoping to cut the cost down with the inclusion of players, such as Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic.

Lautaro Martinez Not Keen On the Prospect Of Potentially Joining Mancity.

Lautaro Martinez is not entirely convinced by the prospect of potentially joining reigning Premier League champions Manchester City according to a report from NobleSports Reliable Source.

The 22-year-old has been linked with the Citizens in recent weeks with it understood that Pep Guardiola is a big fan of him but the Argentine national team striker is not so keen on a move.

First of all the report claims that the player does not feel that the Premier League is the best fit for him and his play style and secondly the fact he would have to miss out on the Champions League for two seasons is putting him off as well.

Manchester City aside, Barcelona have been very strongly linked with making a move for the highly rated forward, who has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season.

This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists

Inter ‘Rejected Firpo, Rakitic & Semedo’ In A Possible Deal For Lautaro

Inter have already rejected Barcelona trio Nelson Semedo, Junior Firpo and Ivan Rakitic as possible makeweights in a possible deal for Lautaro Martinez, according to NobleSports reliable source.

Antonio Conte, the Inter coach, is not interest in any of the three players as he builds for next season, although he is open to other players in the Barça squad as the Catalans look to bring down the Argentine’s 111 million euros price tag.

According to the same report, Barça offered Semedo, Junior and Rakitic as part of the initial negotiations with the Serie A club, but failed to achieve a breakthrough.

Inter, though, are still demanding a huge price Lautaro, although they would accept it in installments. Barça continue to insist on the idea of including players to bring the cost down. The most interesting player for Inter could be Arturo Vidal.

Barça have put Ivan Rakitic on the transfer market (he seems to only want to move to Sevilla), along with Junior (there is interest in Italy) and Semedo (Manchester City have suggested a swap deal for Joao Cancelo)

However, Barça to have other players in mind to use in a player plus cash deal and it seems that the negotiations are about to move into the definitive stage.

Fabrizio Biasin:’Messi won’t leave Barca for Inter & Lautaro will remain at Inter’

Italian football journalist Fabrizio Biasin has shared his belief neither Lionel Messi nor Lautaro Martinez will depart their respective employers in the coming months amid continued speculation in Argentine, Spanish and Italian media.

In the past week or so Messi has been strongly linked with a departure from Barcelona with Inter among clubs linked whilst Lautaro has long been linked with a move to Barcelona who see him as one of their top targets for the next transfer window.

I never believed it [Messi leaving Barcelona to join Inter] would be possible and I haven’t changed my mind. I believe his arrival is impossible. Messi will stay where he is,” Biasin remarked in an interview with Italian news outlet Malpensa24.it.

“As for Lautaro, Barcelona are interested in him but Lautaro has never asked to leave Inter. He will remain at Inter.”

Biasin proceeded to share his views regarding what he thinks will happen with Mauro Icardi, who is owned by Inter and currently out on loan at reigning French champions Paris Saint Germain.

“He will not stay at Inter, nor will Nainggolan, who will not return either. A decision was made about them some time ago. There has never been a discussion with Conte about this.

The management decided that they would not be part of the project when he arrived and he already knew it.”

He concluded the interview by discussing the recent reports in the media that have seen Inter linked with a move for Manchester United and France national team midfielder Paul Pogba: “Inter cannot be excluded but I do not know if it will be possible.”

M. Kempes:’Barca is a train only passes once’ To Martinez

Former Argentina striker Mario Kempes has warned Inter’s Lautaro Martinez that Barcelona are ‘a train that only passes once’.

Links between Martinez and Barca are refusing to die down, and Kempes believes his countryman may not get another chance to join the Catalan giants.

“Lautaro, for a couple of years now, has proven to be a great No 9,” the 1978 World Cup winner told Tuttomercatoweb.

“He’s shown it at Inter and Argentina. I believe that the train only passes once and, beyond the fact that Inter are a great team recognised globally, Barca are totally different.

“Playing with Messi would be fantastic. If he stays with Inter, it could be a good thing in terms of him continuing to gain experience.

“But if he wants to go to Barcelona and Inter are willing to let him leave for good money…”

Man City willing to pay Lautaro’s €111m release clause

Premier League giants Manchester City are interested in signing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez and are willing to pay his €111 million release clause, according to a report from today’s paper edition of NobleSports Reliable Source

The report details how the 22-year-old Argentine striker, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, has been followed by Catalan side Barcelona for many months know, with star Lionel Messi even suggesting that the player should make the move from Italy to Spain.

However, Manchester City may upset the Blaugrana’s plans, the report continues. Pep Guardiola’s side would be willing to pay all of Lautaro’s €111 million release clause, a fee that Barcelona cannot afford. Chelsea and Real Madrid are also watching Lautaro closely but cannot cover the high costs of the deal.

Guardiola considers Lautaro as the perfect heir to club talisman Sergio Aguero, the report highlights, and the English side will begin negotiations once the Coronavirus emergency is over.

Lukaku: Lautaro is fantastic, I’m happy to play with him, I adore him

Inter striker Romelu Lukaku spoke to his followers on Instagram earlier today, talking about his career and his teammates and whatever other questions were put to him by the fans, with his answers reported by NobleSports Relaible Source

The report details how Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic teased his teammate, calling him ugly, to which the 26-year-old Belgian strike replied: “Marcelo, you’re uglier than me, with that hair you look like a porn star. And I don’t like you, so come back with the same hair as before!”

The former Manchester United midfielder spoke positively about Argentine striker and attacking partner Lautaro Martinez.

“He’s fantastic, even as a youngster. He’s growing up a lot and I’m happy to play with him, I adore him.”

He then touched on the differences between the Premier League and Serie A.

“I think Serie A is good, but there’s a different intensity to Premier League, we take more care of tactical details. But both are beautiful, only each with its own particularities and differences. And I love both Italy and England, both countries have been very welcoming to me.”

Finally, Lukaku confirmed that he has few doubts about being with the Nerazzurri, after a fan suggested that he could leave.

“Leaving Inter? You’re crazy, absolutely not!”

The 26-year-old Belgian striker, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2024, has made 35 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2904 minutes. In that time, he has scored 23 goals and provided five assists, shining under the guidance of coach Antonio Conte.

Lautaro’s agent: There’s a big chance that he goes to Barcelona

An interview featuring Sergio Zarate, one of Lautaro Martinez’s agents, will have given Barcelona fans reason to get excited. But according to the latest report, agent Beto Yaque clarifies that Sergio Zarate is not Lautaro’s agent.

Zarate was asked about the possibility of his client moving from Inter to Barcelona and said it could happen.

“There is a big chance,” he said in response to that suggestion to NobleSports Reliable Source.

When it was put to Zarate that the player could go to Real Madrid, he said that Barcelona would be a better fit.

“The person who decides is the player,” Zarate said.

“With Lionel Messi there, I think there is a bit more of a chance of him going to be with the greatest of all.”

Zarate also responded to comments recently made by Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti.

“They can think all they want, but it’s the market that decides these things,” the agent said.

“When the giants of Europe want a player, they go with everything.”

Ex-Argentina international Fabbri: Lautaro is perfect replacement for Suarez

Former Argentina international Nestor Fabbri believes Lautaro Martinez would fit in to the Barcelona team just fine.

The forward has been linked with a move to the Camp Nou, with his release clause at Inter set at 111 million euros.

One pro of joining Barcelona would be to link up with international teammate Lionel Messi and Fabbri thinks the two would work well together.

“Lautaro could be the ideal replacement for [Luis] Suarez,” Says Nestor Fabbri

“He could form a very good partnership with Messi”

Barcelona table contract offer worth €10M per season to Lautaro Martinez

Barcelona have offered Inter striker Lautaro Martinez a contract offer worth an annual €10 million to them according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The reigning Spanish champions have tabled the offer to the highly rated 22-year-old striker in a bid to try and entice him into joining them in the coming months.

Barcelona have seemingly identified Lautaro has one of their top transfer targets, if not their top one and Lionel Messi could also play a significant role.

As per the report, Messi could be asked to speak with his compatriot to try and further entice him to join the Nou Camp club.

Lautaro is currently under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season and has a €111 million release clause in his contract, something Barcelona reportedly do not wish to pay as they would prefer to do a player(s) plus cash deal for him.

This season he has made 31 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.

Luis Suarez Backs Barcelona Moves for Neymar & Lautaro Martinez

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has backed a move for PSG’s Neymar and Inter’s Lautaro Martinez, who have both been heavily linked with a switch to Camp Nou in recent times.

Neymar, of course, sealed a sensational move to Paris Saint-Germain back in 2017 as he looked to take his career to the next step, but he has since been heavily linked with a return.

As for Martinez, he has been in impressive form for Inter this season, netting 16 times in 31 appearances in all competitions before football was suspended due to the coronavirus crisis.

Lautaro Martinez
Barça have been linked with a whole host of attackers as they look to reinforce their front line, and 22-year-old Martinez has been identified as a forward who can compete with and eventually replace the ageing Suarez.

Suarez himself has now spoken out on La Blaugrana’s interest in Neymar and Martinez, with the Uruguayan heaping praise on both players. He told Mundo Deportivo: “It is difficult to talk about players today.

“As is the situation in the world today, talking about who can come because of how everything is complicated. But I can speak about what these players are like and they are huge players.

“Obviously, Neymar, everyone knows him and we know the appreciation that we have for him in the dressing room, which as a player is indisputable because he still has a lot to give and in the dressing room he would always be welcome because of the affection he has.

“Lautaro is a player who has been growing a lot in Italy, he is a nine who has movements that are spectacular and that reflects how great a striker he is. It is not that you feel compatible but that you feel happy that the club wants to incorporate players who come to help and fulfil the same objective of everyone – that of wanting to win everything.”

A source recently told NobleSports that Martínez is indeed top of Barcelona’s wish list this summer and the forward’s priority is to seal a move to Camp Nou. This is regardless of what other options could become available. However, the club will have to sell, and they are open to parting ways with Antoine Griezmann already.

Luis Suarez
As for Suarez, his contract is due to expire in 2021, but he confirmed that he has a clause in his contract which will trigger an extension if he plays in 60% of his side’s games next season. Nonetheless, he has now explained that no discussions have taken place regarding a new deal with the club as of yet.

“No, I still don’t know anything. At the moment I have a contract with the club and I am not thinking of anything other than fulfilling that contract for now. Then the time will surely come for the club and for me to sit down and talk because the relationship was always good.”

Icardi, Griezmann eyed by EPL clubs, Martinez prioritises Barcelona.

Inter striker Lautaro Martínez is focused on joining Barcelona this summer, in a move which could, in turn, see Antoine Griezmann or Mauro Icardi head to the Premier League with Manchester City and Chelsea both on the lookout for a new striker.

Barcelona want a young striker to compete with and eventually replace Luis Suárez, and Martínez has been identified as the ideal candidate, although affording the deal could be problematic.

NobleSport gathered that Martínez is top of Barcelona’s wish list this summer and the 22-year-old’s priority is to seal a move to Camp Nou, regardless of what other options (Chelsea and Man City are also interested) become available.

NobleSport note that Martínez has rejected the chance to extend his contract with Inter in the hope of joining Barcelona, even though that proposal included a higher wage than would be on offer at Camp Nou.

However, La Blaugrana will have to sell some players to balance their books first. Ivan Rakitić, Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembélé could all be pushed towards the exit door, and club officials are also even open to parting ways with Griezmann just one year after his controversial €120m move.

Despite contributing 14 goals and four assists in 37 appearances before play was suspended, the Frenchman has failed to impress on the whole, and Barcelona are now open to parting ways with him to facilitate their move for Martínez.

NobleSport learnt that a move to the Premier League for Griezmann is a possibility, with at least two of England’s richest sides on the lookout for a new forward this summer.

Chelsea and Manchester City are keen to recruit in the position and have both looked closely at Martínez. However, even though they both remain keen, they have been informed that the Argentine wants to join Barcelona, so they are prepared to look elsewhere.

Beyond Martinez and Griezmann, another potential option for the two English sides is fellow Inter striker Icardi, who has enjoyed an impressive campaign out on loan with Paris Saint-Germain this season.

Chelsea and City have been tracking Icardi for a while and have both retained their interest this year, having seen Icardi struggle to hold down a permanent place in Thomas Tuchel’s starting lineup.

PSG do have the chance to sign Icardi permanently this summer, but there are rumblings that they will not exercise that contractual option. In the event that he returns to Inter, Chelsea and City are contemplating launching bids of their own.
