We received over 900 million votes – BBNaija organizers spills.


About 72 hours after BBNaija announced Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe as the winner of season 5, the total number of voting entries have been revealed to be over 900 million.

According to the Managing Director of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe during the live prize presentation today, 30th of September, this season of Big Brother broke records and made history.

He disclosed that the number of votes that was received for the reality show is well over 900 million. Ugbe also promised to release make more revelation on how people voted.

Recall with Noble Reporters Media that Laycon, the 26 year old rapper won this year’s edition of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show after polling the highest votes of the five housemates that made the grand finale.

Laycon’s N85 million worth of prizes includes N30 million cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment; a top of the range SUV; a trip to Dublin; home appliances, another trip to Dubai; a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and many other gifts from sponsors of the reality show.

The 26 year old’s win sent social media into frenzy and many expressed themselves on these platforms.


Recall with Noble Reporters Media that many fans of the show predicted that among the 5 finalists, the 26-year-old singer and rapper would emerge the winner.

Laycon who has been in the spotlight since his 1st day on the show is undoubtedly the most loved housemate won the reality show because he had the highest number of votes.

The graduate of Philosophy from University of Lagos edged out other 19 Housemates to win the N85million grand prize.

A fan of Big Brother Naija housemate, Laycon has vowed to annihilate Media personality, Ebuka if he loses on Sunday as the reality show comes to an end.

Laycon is undoubtedly one of the strong contenders for the BBNaija N85 million grand prize after the likes of Erica, Kiddwaya and Ozo left the house.

The reality star fans known as ICONS have taken their campaign to the next level as they hit the streets with huge speakers and vans to campaign for him in Ogun state. In the background, a fan can be heard yelling, ”if Laycon did not win, Ebuka you are dead”

Blaring loud music, the group of young youths could be seen dancing and singing. They have no doubt putting themselves all out to make sure Laycon wins the ultimate prize of the reality show.

Today Friday, September 25, is the final voting day for all top 5 housemates in the BBNaija house, as African’s most popular reality Tv show is coming to an end on Sunday, September 27.

‘No Nominations’ – BBNaija introduces new twist ahead possible eviction


Big Brother has introduced a new twist to the show as all housemates of the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show will be put up for possible eviction as the show enters its second week.

According to the show’s host Ebuka Obi Uchendu, all housemates will be put up for eviction except the housemate who wins the Head of House challenge tomorrow July 27.

The Deputy Head of House will also not be put up for eviction.

Ebuka made this revelation on the live show today, Sunday 26.

Ebuka went further to reveal that the housemate with the lowest vote will be evicted, then other housemates will kick out one housemate out of the bottom four.

The 2020 Season 5 Big Brother Naija show kick-started tonight, July 19, 2020, with 20 housemates selected into the house.

With Show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returning to hosting duties on BBN with the theme #BBNaijalockdown, there’s so much that awaits each individual from the launching of the show to the remaining 71 days ahead.

Following the social distancing and COVID-19 rules, the house was disinfected and contestants passed through disinfection tunnels to meet with Ebuka as they introduced themselves to viewers.

Nengi who is an entrepreneur from Bayelsa State says she’s more than just a pretty face.


Ozor, 27, wants to play pranks on his fellow housemates. He is so cute, he’s a lady’s man already.


Eric Akhigbe

Eric Akhigbe (24) is a final year student at the University of Lagos and hails from Edo State. The bodybuilder is a confident hunk who takes pride in his 1.95m height. He describes himself as a fun, competitive sports and fitness enthusiast who enjoys winning.


Erica, 26, is bringing fun and hopes to win the show.



Dorathy says people should never let anyone know their weakness. She’s 24 years old.


Kiddwaaya, 27 says he’s arrogant and confident and can swith personalities depending on the situation he finds himself though.


Energetic and lively Lucy, 30, stated that life is for the living. Watch out for this one.



Prince is a fitness enthusiast, conspiracy theorist and loves to have fun while also dressing up really good, so watch out for him. He is 24.


Tolanibaj, 27, is a media enthusiast who might be getting some hosting deals if she plays her cards right.



Vee, 23, likes to sing and so Ebuka asked her to sing her name. She also revealed that people should live everyday as if it were their last.


Brighto disclosed in his interview with Ebuka that he likes getting on people’s nerves and that life is too short. He is 29.


Lilo says she doesn’t like anyone in her business. The 23 yea old, getting into BBNaija means everyone is already in your business, so hopefully she changes her mind. She also likes to be in charge.



Trickytee is the comedian in the house. The 35 year old is already making everyone laugh and he says everyone should live life like it is their last day.


Drama queen is Wathoni, 29, set to bring some vibes into the house and says you are unstoppable


Tochi, 28 is ready to vibe with the ladies as he came through with his Igbo outfit, representing Eastern Nigeria. He will be working and playing hard.



Praise, 28, says never stop striving for the best. He is ready for a three way relationship. Is that an entanglement?


Kaisha, 25, from Sokoto, Northern Nigeria says there’s no dull moment with her although Twitter fans who’ve got no chill are already planning to vote her out.

Other housemates are Neo from Edo state, Ka3na and Laycon the singer.
