James Rodriguez has been left out of Real Madrid’s matchday squad for the second game in a row.
The Colombian hasn’t been included in Zinedine Zidane’s list for the visit of Alaves on Friday.
This is despite the fact that Los Blancos have only named a squad of 22 players when they are allowed to pick up to 23 for each match.
James didn’t travel to Bilbao at the weekend for Real Madrid’s game against Athletic Club either.
Zidane will also be without the suspended duo of Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal, plus the injured pair of Nacho and Marcelo for Friday’s match.
Luka Jovic also misses out as he continues to self-isolate having been in contact with a friend who recently tested positive for coronavirus.
Youngsters Javi Hernandez and Miguel Gutierrez do earn their place, however.
