Juventus target Erling Braut Haaland has revealed he will not move away from Borussia Dortmund in the upcoming window: “I have just arrived.”
The Norwegian starlet impressed the European giants with his performances at RB Salzburg in the first half of the season and secured a move to BVB in January.
He had then been linked with a move to Juventus, among other big clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
“I live in the present,” Braut Haaland told WAZ regarding the future. “I have just arrived in Dortmund and I’m not thinking of leaving for now.”
Haaland reportedly has a €70m release clause in his current deal with Die Schwarzgelben, rumoured to become active in 2022, and the link with Mino Raiola sparked reports in Italy about a possible move to Juventus.
The 19-year-old has also quashed rumours that he could be heading out after only six months in Germany by talking about his targets for next season.
“Dortmund are one of the biggest clubs in the world. I have signed a long-term contract and I don’t think too much about the future,” he said
“I decide what is the best thing for my career here and now. I want to achieve something important with Borussia, not always be second, but also win the title as soon as possible.
“The next year we set targets, we want to score as many goals, and I as a striker want to contribute.”
