Milan have reportedly passed up the chance to sign Liverpool and England midfielder Adam Lallana.
Lallana’s contract with Liverpool is about to expire and he is set to leave the club on the Bosman ruling.
With Milan keeping an eye out for low-cost signings, Calciomercato.com claims he was offered to them.
However, the website adds the Rossoneri did not see him as a ‘first-rate opportunity’ and continue to hold that view.
The 31-year-old has played for the Reds since 2014, helping them win the Champions League last season, but his time with the club has been plagued by injuries.
An attacking midfielder with 34 caps for England, he can also play out wide or in a deeper role.
